Marci McAdam was born in 1971 on a dark and stormy night in a small town in Canada. She grew up imagining an audience of children listening to her stories. Pictures always accompanied her stories.

From business logos to comic books, her illustrations tell a story. She uses a variety of mediums: Prismacolor art markers, watercolours, acrylic, coloured pencil, and Photoshop on her Macintosh.

Marci is a self-taught artist, with a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Calgary. Several times a year she travels to anthropomorphic conventions to exhibits her artwork, and she was Guest of Honor in 2002 at Conifur Northwest . Her work has appeared in educational publications, comics, logos and in private collections internationally.

She lives in Calgary with her sons Peter and Cian, and her partner Rob.
