From business logos to comic books, her illustrations tell a story. She uses a variety of mediums: Prismacolor art markers, watercolours, acrylic, coloured pencil, and Photoshop on her Macintosh. Marci is a self-taught artist, with a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Calgary. Several times a year she travels to anthropomorphic conventions to exhibits her artwork, and she was Guest of Honor in 2002 at Conifur Northwest . Her work has appeared in educational publications, comics, logos and in private collections internationally. She lives in Calgary with her sons Peter and Cian, and her partner Rob. Marci
McAdam was born in 1971 on a dark and stormy night in a small town in
Canada. She grew up imagining an audience of children listening to her
stories. Pictures always accompanied her stories.
